* OFF TOPIC * ColleenB, Nice find. I had sat at home here that day and was totally amazed as the story unfolded. I took the time to look up the company and what little information was available on it. It looked just like any of the other internut/telecommunications plays. Nothing special. No diamonds-in-the-rough. As is my wont, I procrastinated and didn't buy, and just sat and watched the ticker on CNBC as the share price just went up and up and up. For a short time, AVCO looked like the only symbol on CNBC's NASDAQ ticker. I'll admit that I was mentally kicking myself in the pants for not buying a couple of hundred shares when the story first broke on CNBC. At that time the shares were still around or just under $10. By early evening they were close to $40. And then the halt in trading was announced... KJC
