As usual, something comes up to save the internuts.

Incredible timing by the Amazon people. It'll keep the stock and probably the sector from selling off at expirations tomorrow.

Unbelievable.

golly gee, since AMZN did a 3 for 1 split... they will reduce their loss per share by 1/3!!!!!!!! WOW! what a brillaint business tactic. I see any drop or pop as an agressive buying opp. (G)

LOL!!!!!!!!

this is madness. Mkt has totally lost its mind when investors get all lathered up about a stock split in a co. that makes no money and likely never will.....

end result.... the crash grows near! get ready!

Bought some more puts on CMB, DELL and DAL today.

MM, amzn hasn't split yet. Just made the announcement . . .

Amazon.com announced today that it will split its stock 3-for-1.
Seattle-based Amazon.com said shareholders will receive two
additional shares for every share held on the record date of December
18. The additional shares will be mailed or delivered on or around
January 4.

Amazon.com shares have risen fourfold this year on optimism that
the top online bookseller will also dominate in other categories such
as music and videos. Shares split 2-for-1 on June 1. (The bold letters are mine)

Shares fell $10.75 to $153.34 today. Amazon disclosed the proposed
stock split after the close of trading.

May be a good play for the run-up???
