No not really., this type of exploration takes time., most people dont have the patience to wait out the results., I own a little., not much., they are low key., non promotional., and when and if they do announce a significant discovery., the market wont be expecting it. They are serious., what more can you want in this market., there are a few good explorers out there., they have a pedigree., and a good team., but sometimes that isnt enough to keep the market interest. I will probably sit on it., and piss and moan like the other shareholders., crying Wa Wa., Wa., Wa., Wa., Wa., About Wa., Wa., I was very young around 16 as I recall., the old man and I had motored up thru area., highway 17., right after the Mackinaw bridge was completed., he stopped along the way and we would fish for Northern Pike along the small lakes dotting the highways., saw my first Moose., we drove into WaWa., one night., they had the downtown street blocked off., with a real old fashioned Saturday Night Street Dance., it was great., some good people in the area., a nice little town., with the gigantic goose statue near the motel we stayed in., several years later we went back to the area., I hardly recognized Highway 17., progress., it was then the late 70s my wife and I came back and drove up to Thunder Bay., and poked around the Ameythst mines., up there., remember one day., we were driving along., and noticed this sign., AMEYTHST MINE., with an arrow pointing down this two track road., so we decided to go back and check it out., we drove probably 12 miles back into the bush., the ol boy that had the mine had his travel trailer parked right along side his vein., he had a small stream., running water., and had those jars of ameythst filled to the brim., he had a trench maybe 200 ft long exposed with the amethyst running near surface., he would go into the trench and break out the ameythist and package it right there for you. Interesting area., they use the amethyst for fireplace rocks., and ornamental designs., I have several jars., once in a while do some laipidary work., my favorite stones other than diamonds., are Australian Fire Opals., and some fine Arizona Fire Agates., and turquoise from the Kingman Mine in Arizona. Enough babbling., Dave., I dont have the answer to this one., it is probably wait it out., until some liquidity comes into the market and see what transpires. Sincerely George J. Tromp |
