FIELD LENGTH

There was some talk about 2K posts ago about defining field lengths. I wonder if you are not getting the fills off the default (enough for symbol and extension).

I'm note sure how you'd accomodate the 1-4 or more variable symbols needed for various stocks.

"Print" help example 4 shows this.

I seem to remember the discussion went beyond what the help said you can do with the formatting.

If you can find this old stuff (gee, it was only a couple of months ago that we were down about count 5000) , it might give you some ideas fast, in case Gary is taking the night off tonight.

Dear Webb,

If the trailing whitespace is a problem for TF+ (I don't have TF+, so I don't know), it would be an easy matter to write a little program to strip the extra whitespace off a .lst file. Then you wouldn't have to do it by hand.

If you are still looking for a solution to this, let me know, and I could make you something to strip whitespaces this weekend.
