FYI,

Up front disclaimer. The following is not intended to raise any excitement and sales would likely be miniscule in comparison to standard options...but

I'm on the verge of a new PC purchase and given some employer discounts I was looking at Dell. As I'm sure you all know, Dell does not offer a Banshee option for their desktops. In spite of that I popped an e-mail to the account executive as to the possibility of obtaining a Banshee-based video card, preferably the Diamond Fusion.

The response I got (can't copy/paste..it's on a different machine) was that I can order a Diamond Fusion card at the time I order a new PC through the Dellware program. While it will be shipped at the same time, it won't be factory installed. Significant? Insignificant? Like Ken Starr, I'm just reporting the facts.

Best Regards,
Jim

P.S. OT...did the world end today? The net stocks were down. What happened?

P.P.S. About once a week, I ask myself why I didn't buy AMZN. I pull up the balance sheet and say to myself "that's why". Quarter over quarter negative earnings growth rate...the bigger they get the more they lose. I'm confused.
