Petz - Re: "Intel has never acknowledged that the superior McKinley design is, in fact, an HP design. "

HP design, NexGEN design - why is one "bad" and the other the holy grail?

Re:Petz : McKinley

Well seems like the usual intel TM tactics, not ?
I'm still a little bit confused about the real deal between intel and hp, especially because i don't see what hp needs so badly from intel they can't continue to design their own chips, without "help" from intel engineers... why would HP take the risc that creativeless intel designers try to implement old and long forgotten p-pro techniques, just because they don't know better than taking something old and making it a little better, and sell it as "revolutionary", if they [HP] can develop their own blistering fast risc solutions...

I'm very pleased to read articles as the one you posted, keep going ;)
