I realize that, jmo; I was just kind of shocked that you were trying to make the point you were and some of the people took the opportunity of any post on this thread, pertaining to the stock or not, to sling more grief around. I come from a long family of service people. I respect what you and others have done for this country and my family. (How the government pays us back for those sacrifices is sometimes another story, but again, you were just discussing those who sacrificed, not all the other bs that the politicians throw upon us) My brother (a Marine) sits (his wedding on hold) just waiting for the order to carry out this country's policy in the middle east. God be with him, his mates, all those who served before him, and all those that will follow after. I never had the privilege to serve myself as they would not take me due to an injury to my knee and ankle. I will always regret that somewhat as I feel it should have been my duty to the country in which I enjoy such privileges. So I am always respectful and thankful to those who did. It is appalling to see people taking your statements and posts as an opportunity to continue bashing. Wonder what some of them will come out with at Christmas?
