Thanks Herb I also have my relatively respectable long holding with the firm in a margin account. Under their rules, ANCR is marginable if it closes at 3 1/8 or better, and they do show my account as having considerable buying power again now that ANCR is where it is. That is why I thought I would experiment with their system. Also, why couldn't they borrow from my long position as long as they hold the shares for me? Thank you in advance, Herb, or others.
