Thank you.

I agree that MM's have nothing more than very short term effects on the trading of a stock like NOVL.

All the stories told on these boards about the "plots' of MM's are ludicrous.

There are plenty of other crooks to worry about.

Pruguy,

why does everyone think MM's can predict the future...if this is so, then at least one of them would be in the forbes 100

Shame on you! And you work in the financial business with Prudential! In saying MM's, what I'm implying is that the market makers are trying to accumulate shares to fill certain orders by large buyers (e.g. Merrill Lynch). If ML likes what they hear from NOVL CFO's they will place their large orders to MM. MM may not actually know the news.....but, they do know they have some special buyers. And technicians or ticker trackers can see this activity. This isn't a revolutionary or profound observation.

Oh, BTW, I stand corrected by Papa-QuadK, Novell has actually gapped open the past 4 days, not 3, and with today's open, thats 5 days in a row! This isn't a speculation, theory or implication. Its a fact.

Enjoy.
