I would have to say that it is quite possible for one person to handle about 500 customer's calls.

"Hello, Insider Trading"

"I have a technical support question."

"Please hold."

"Hello. Insider Trading"

Oh I am sure that some one can answer 500 calls in a day, why that's only one a minute. You can solve just about even the most complicated problems in under a minute. But people paying $300/month are likely to expect more than being put on hold.

And of course only the most experienced traders are going to want this service. And they are the ones that will have the easiest problems to handle. Though with all of these experienced traders, why are they offering those classes do you suppose?

Now if only everyone will cooperate and not call in bunches - spread evenly out through the day then they won't have to worry about peak hours of coverage.

Forget fixing problems. Getting PC Quote to fix things will surely be challenging enough. Following up with getting the customers updated will of course be a chore. Every configuration will be different, each installation will be unique. That's the biggest problem they are likely to face.

If you have done any tech support as you say, you know exactly how laughable having 1 tech support person is, unless you are only planning on supporting just a few number of people.
