JHILD your shooting in the Back again. PC QUOTE is running the show. You go to there web site! The only configuration is your ability to get to there web site. If there server goes down than the support person will be there to tell people that the folks at PC quote said that the server will be up and running in a couple of minuets. The support person will be there to assist with any accounting problems. Or assisting people to open an account.

Actually, what I said was that it is possible to have 1 person per 500 users of a software package at the same time because not all of them need as much help as you would! What you are saying is that each person needs their own technical support person to help them with round-the-clock questions that they will always have and they will never be able to trade online because they don't know how and they need help and...... get my point?

With software support, you don't have a prayer of success if you have the overhead of too many salaries! Technical support should be available elsewhere, without a phone call ever needing to be made (check the market these days and try to find support phone numbers that are readily accessible for help). With over 18,000 users and 30 support persons, we have an annual renewal percentage that would blow you away (over 95%) and the biggest reason is that our software is the easiest to use and we have the most qualified technical support staff that can answer questions to which answers aren't readily available on the web or through other means.

You've proven to me that you don't understand the business so please take it to PMs or just drop it. When you have been in the business about 10 years, let me know.
