Yes Sudhir did put out an issue on YRI but I wouldn't reprint it without his permission. I can say in summary though he is expecting good results from YRI during this drilling season and has indicated the present financing is a very good thing. We should have a better idea about the 'size of the resource' after the drilling is complete which will help advance the value of YRI.

I am confident very soon we will see YRI move well above our present level as we have possibly four areas in which YRI may find good results this year. Bacon, Lejano, Northern Porphyry Copper Belt in Chile and an area in Argentina 20 kilometers northwest of Lejano, called Ciclon West. I wasn't aware of this so I know nothing about it yet. Possibly a hidden jewel. More to come on this one. I will try to find out more.

I recommend the Resource Indicator if one wants factual info on resource stocks. His email address is khannas@interlog.com. Past issues are available for free and to subscribe is not expensive. He can direct you to his website if you send him an email. Take Care.

Neil and To all Yamana investors.

Regarding Ciclon West, Argentina

I had a look at the 1998 annual report from Yamana today and in fact they mention the
Ciclon West property as good prospect which has been recently acquired. First pass
rock chip sampling at Ciclon West returned assay values as high as 491 g/t Ag, 2.47
g/t Au and 2.1% pb over several meters. This area will receive extensive examination
over the coming months. There will be geophysical surveys done and some RC drilling
on this target this year. (I will find out when as soon as possible.)

The area is located at altitudes of about 700 to 750 meters which is similar to Lejano.
Likewise it is accessible by a network of maintained provincial and federal roads and is
in close proximity to towns, airports and as a result an accessible labor force. The
plans are in place to do about a half dozen RC drill holes as a first pass exploration at
depth of 250 meters. This is a large anomaly and is expected to host a very large
sulfide system. If this anomaly can prove up grades similar to the grades found at
Lejano and Bacon last year, then there is no doubt YRI will capture the interest of the
market and move up strongly. IMO

We are share holders of a financially strong, company with very good prospects on
land staked where if any mineable resource is found it can be mined easily and cost
effectively. I look forward to seeing what the Ciclon West property has to offer and I
think we as shareholders will be rewarded for our patience. I trust this helps. Take
Care!
