Momentum may carry for a while, but a split pure and simple is a distribution of shares. Many a shareholder after a tense ride will start selling Jan call options in- the money to lock in capital gains . The party will be different from now on and the stock should come back to reality with this additional share amount coming online... Now we can be more realistic in valuing.. I personally believe that the company will sell secondary shares shortly after the split and that their managing firm has already pre sold the issue by shorting the stock, we will see...My guess is that tomorrow after an up opening, the pros will by up all the cheap out of money puts and you will see it descend into the close..gil
