I agree Jonathan. I think we'll see a pullback (translated: buying opportunity) on a lot of the net stocks. Then they'll do another run. It's been a lovely predictable cycle.

<<The internet stocks are more than likely poised for a downward cycle...>>

I'm jealous of your short position, but I managed to sneak one in on LCOS yesterday so I'm content.

With reference to the above comment, I'm not so sure- I think it's too soon and I think it will be choppy, jaggey, for the next few weeks- ML is bringing forth another internet IPO (I forget whom) very soon, so they still think the climate is ripe.

As to SEEK, I agree with the poster who thought it likely to dip in the upper $20s again- I'll be a buyer then, I think.

Don't want to miss out on GO. Here's a squib from a SEEK release yesterday:
<<"With the closing of this transaction, we are now poised to launch Go Network and a new era for Infoseek," said Harry Motro, chief executive officer (CEO) of Infoseek.

Go Network is currently expected to launch sometime during the fourth
calendar quarter of 1998. But a note at the Web site Thursday morning
said that a preview of the new service is "coming to the Web sooner than you think.">>
