Potent K7 Chip:

Thread the K7 is one kick ass chip. It is able to do MPEG-2 decoder job without any problem. Current CPUs can't do this efficiently. What this means is that if you buy a K7 system you can run DVD without buying a MPEG-2 decoder card. This saves about $100-$300. The K7 is a compelling product. If deliver on time the K7 will be the hottest selling product of 1999.

Re: "The L2 cache on these babies is currently running at 1/3 clockspeed, but is completely configurable, and will likely be running faster by release time."

So AMD can only get it to run at 133mhz at this time! That's a looooooong way from a fullspeed BSB. They didn't say how wide it is.
