Not so. Barnes & Noble said they will ad more products at their site. Barnes~.com now has much of the same stuff that Amazon.com has. with Barnes much greater facilities and money behind them, they can expand more easily into whatever products they deem fit to sell on the Internet. As Bezos has pointed out, it doesn't take as much effort to sell other items once you have the infrastructure in place.

One thing I learned in my life, money can make your dream comes true.
Whitout money, you will be a loser even you have very good idea. You need money to translate the idea to real thing.
AMZN has 3bils in market cap. With that kind of money, you can build a beautifual firmed landscape. That is everybody in here dreamed about it.

Well Hugh, one thing is certain: Money can't buy the ability to speak English fluently or write proper English. Perhaps that's not part of your dream though.

My dream is being the best I can be at my chosen occupation, and having an employer who is very willing to pay me well for my services. I also have co-workers who respect my skills and my contribution to the team-oriented company culture. I'm looking forward to the gala-Christmas party (employees and employee spouses only) this December, at a nice hotel nearby. Color me stupid, but all this makes me very happy.

I guess I'm a simple man. I have a new house and a $21K car, and will be "upsizing" into another new house next year. I don't need a $40-70K car and gold-plated bath fixtures to make me any happier.
