I agree that Kendall did not have an impressive arsenal to nail Starr with. But that's because there isn't one.

I, personally, have never before witnessed two lawyers square off for an hour without ever allowing animosity or other negative emotion to show, in their face, voice, gesture or eyes. That was a first, for me. Also, neither of them allowed himself to show impatience, tension, nervousness or any other weakening emotion. It was a tour de force, I assure you. Bill Gates, the richest man in the United States, doesn't have as good a lawyer, at least not that I have seen.

Starr did his job -- that's more than 95% of the people that serve in government positions.

Whole thing is a sad commentary on how low our society has sunk.
Clinton has already been found not guilty of lying to a grand jury, tampering with witnesses, etc in the court of public opinion.

No one respects the rule of law -- they think it is something to get around when they need to -- they forget it is there to protect them from abuse themselves. God help us all.

so he tried to nail Starr using a variety of suspect tools.

Them sneaky lawyers. As the saying goes: If the facts are on your side , pound the facts; if the law is on your side, pound the law; if nothing is on your side, pound the table.

If a lawyer is ranting and raving uncontrollably, just repeat the above and watch his face - pretty funny reactions usually occur. -g-
