Antoine, I am here, but I am signing off to take my youngest to school. Sorry. But don't Nasdaq stocks trade on some other exchange before the Nasdaq opens? Burke knows the answer to this.

AR, The early morning daq stock trades are happening on off exchange systems. Like instinet. And the daq bid/ask posts you see are good indicators of where the stock will open, although you get some pretty funky bid/ask prices like bid 107 ask 98, because traders are not updating both sides like they would if the market was open.

For some reason I don't quite understand, big board stocks almost never trade off exchange, everyone just waits for the specialist to open 'em up sometime after the bell sounds.
