You actually invest based upon analysts recommendations? AOL has a big franchise right now, but it is basically just an internet access provider. The company who owns the lines into your home will be the ones who will win in the end. If I'm getting high speed internet access from my cable company, they are de facto my internet provider. AOL will end up just as a content provider who must compete with all of the content on the internet.
