Hey, Fun, I think you have done a good job of pointing out the possible trouble areas. The upside doesn't number, but I think the following is true.
Cisco is in the early stages of the a "tornado" that is as great as the early MSFT, maybe even bigger. There is so much demand out there that even if they were not the best managed company in the business, with the best marketing, they would still be handling 35% to 45% growth.
The possible weaknesses you mention could happen. Its not fairyland out there, but I think the majority of the people that post here are right. We are in for "A hell of a Ride!"

Mr.Fun

You have done a good job summing up some of the risks going forward.

Cisco's growth will slow down in the long run (over the course of many years) but to me that continued growth gives me the "quality" of earnings that I'm willing to pay for.

I agree that there are risks going forward.

Wouldn't the market be nice if there were no risks?

Eric

Mr. Fun...Lately I have noticed a considerable slow down in the speed
of the internet, especially a peak periods. I suppose more capacity
is needed but who will benefit most from this upgrading?

Thanks,
Terence Audette
