The National Post reports in its Friday, Nov. 20, edition that Bid.Com
International retreated 50 cents to $2.38, on volume of 11.9 million shares
yesterday on the TSE. The National Post's Market Action column reports that
the flurry of trading activity around the online auction company continued
yesterday, with volume at about 60 times average daily levels. The company
has been riding the wave of Internet stocks in the United States. As one of
the few Internet stocks listed in Toronto, interest in Bid.Com has been
high, says the National Post. The stock opened at $3, went as high as $3.50
but eventually dipped to finish off 17.4 per cent.
