All,

Monkfish at Voodoo Nation has an opinion!! (shock, horror, probe)

3dfx.dimension3d.com

Quote: " I don't want 24-bit color because I desperately need colorful textures, I want 24-bit color to eliminate the nasty color-banding in saturated areas like fog or on curved surfaces like Lara Croft's breasts! If 3Dfx had ‘bitten the bullet' and had gone for 24/32 bit rendering then they might, just might have been justified in calling the new product ‘Voodoo3'."

I'm not used to this lack of excitement and enthusiast endorsement for a new Voodoo product. :(

Also, after having played the Tombraider 3 demo, I no longer care about Ms. Croft's banding anyway, even if I have seen her painted on the side of a CTA bus. I can't believe Eidos are still releasing this game with the crappy flat-plane trees and poor arm-disappearing-thru-walls problems they had with Tombraider 1.
