John, the HD will make no difference, and a 180mhz is adequate. 16megs ram will not do it though...not at all. It will bog down and just start grinding, especially if you're running things like BII with massive volume. I would say 64 megs min. I'm running 128megs, and no slowdown.

Stuff it with 128 meg of memory and by an 8 meg video card and you are set!! 180mhz is fast enough for any modem connection. Your choke point is your memory and your video card...same problem I used to have!

I phoned stockwatch...the girl who answered is a total ditz...tried to impress upon her the severity of the problem. She said she would phone the webmaster directly....after arguing with her for about 10 minutes. DUH!!!!!
