U.S. Microbics Projects $30 Million in Revenues for Fiscal 1999
CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Microbics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BUGS - news) a marketer of proprietary microbial technologies for environmental cleanup, today said that, for the fiscal year ending September 10, 1999, it anticipates achieving revenues of at least $30 million and net income of $.50 to $1.00 per share.

The company will commence filling a $30 million product backlog this December 15, when its new Carlsbad facility begins full operations. These products will be shipped to customers in the commercial, industrial, agricultural and municipal markets.

Shipments of BUGS' Bio-Raptorâ„¢ system for delivery of these microbial blend products will begin in early 1999, said BUGS president, Robert Brehm. The company has letters of intent for more than 100 Bio-Raptorâ„¢ and microbial blend orders, said Brehm, who added that initial revenues from these orders should allow BUGS to qualify for admission to Nasdaq during the first half of next year.

Based on market conditions, the company could achieve revenues of up to $100 million by 2002, he said.

BUGS' growth will be fueled by licensing the company's proprietary technologies to remediation contractors, petrochemical manufacturers, land fill operators, food processors, governments and other entities in the U.S. and around the world, said Brehm.
