SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Winkler Advertising has significantly expanded its video game client roster with the addition of Ion Storm, a Dallas-based game developer, and Crystal Dynamics, a Menlo Park, California-based game publisher. Winkler is the agency for Eidos Interactive, publisher of the best-selling Tomb Raider games, who recently acquired Crystal Dynamics and completed a ten-year exclusive publishing agreement with Ion Storm. The agreement with Ion Storm allows Eidos Interactive to publish the work of one of the world's most renowned games designers, the legendary John Romero, the man responsible for two of the biggest selling PC titles -- Doom and Quake. Romero and his team are currently working on the much-anticipated video game "Daikatana," scheduled for release this fall. Winkler has begun working on introductory advertising for "Daikatana" as well as Crystal Dynamics' upcoming "Legacy of Kain" and "GEX" titles. Both print and television are in the works.
