Does the saying "Don't burn down the barn to kill a few rats" mean anything to you?

I talked with two west coast law firms who are doing preliminary work for a class action on Amazon.com. I also heard from a reporter who said she wanted information on it but she got AMZN confused with AOL. This may take months to see what happens. If the stock keels over after the round of insider sales, then the odds look good for this to become shark infested waters.

The stock will have to fall enough for there to be "damages" to assert but then the action itself would tend to precipitate a further decline. It's worth monitoring as another ingredient in the stew.
