I wonder how many Congresspersons are silent because of the White House rifling through their FBI files for months? Talk about invasion of privacy!

Well, if you are talking about Republicans, that number ought to be zero, right? Because they are all squeaky clean and have nothing to "Hyde"! ;-)

Dipy.

You'll have to ask K about the WH agent thing, Michael. WH agents, idiots, what's the diff? What's the next step in the age slippage thing? 18? 15? Oh, and on the FBI thing, another element of the ever popular litany here:

E. FBI Files

As to the FBI files matter, there are outstanding issues that we are attempting to resolve with respect to one individual. But I can address two issues of relevance to the committee's work. First, our investigation, which has been thorough, found no evidence that anyone higher than Mr. Livingstone or Mr. Marceca was in any way involved in ordering the files from the FBI. Second, we have found no evidence that information contained in the files of former officials was used for an improper purpose.
(from nytimes.com )

But who needs evidence when you're among friends, eh, Michael? Maybe now that Zoltan! has returned, we can talk about J. Edgar Hoover again, the real master of that kind of stuff, and an OK lumberjack kind of guy too. It's all substantive debate as usual to me.

Cheers, Dan.
