Michelle, I've had the same thing happen to me a couple of months ago! Its not a moving violation, just a revenue source for them and a pain in the A*s to the public.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!

D.

OT: Don't mean to moralize, and it should be a personal choice, but you are generally better off wearing your seatbelt than not; if it hadn't been for seatbelts a few years ago, I wouldn't be here to post this message.

ot
rebeing pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt.
Disgusting.
Big brother is watching you.
Protecting you out of your rights and eventually completely out of all safety when the gov has total control and totally dominates.
Worse than what happened to you:
I read in the paper a case where a 7 year old unhooked his seat belt, the car crashed, he was killed and the father, in the midst of his grief, was arrested for murder and child endangerment. The jury would not convict. Nice system we have here now, isnt it?

Hi, Michelle: Betty, wasn't wearing belts when she was hit head-on in 1978, just returned from treatment in Chicago and is under sedation right now. I've sent her to hospitals in many states more than 50 times.

Seatbelts would have prevented all this permanent injury to her neck. My wife is dynamic woman, owned 5 medical clinics, had more than 100 doctors working for her, ran for mayor in Atlanta, now runs a charity from our home.

I'm sorry you got stopped, but I do hope you'll protect your life and health with them. One brief mistake by another driver can bring enormous disaster to you and those who love you.

Hear?

Don

Michelle: Aetna refused to pay the $25,000 medical rider on Betty's auto policy till we sued, got less. Prudential kited rates on her non-can health policy so I put a 50' billboard on top of a building facing the Georgia capital for 3 months, you could see it from the governor's office. It said:

PRUDENTIAL GOOSED MY RATES 836% and gave me PESTILENTIAL PRUDENTIALITIS ...IT'S PRUDICULOUS!

BETTY MARTINI, MARTINI on the ROCK, INC

I got carried away, should have said: Don't Let the Rock get a Piece of You! She was on radio and TV for months, we put out flyers by the thousands, really told the story. My chemical company came out with a tile cleaner called: PRU-DICULOUS SCUM REMOVER

Industrial strength, really worked. The bottle told exactly how Pru bilks the aged and disabled whom they've pledged to protect.

SERPENT ON THE ROCK by Kurt Eichenwald tells what a dirty criminal crew Prudential is.

Betty's lost income, disability for 20 years, medical expenses, time lost fighting with insurance companies, etc, cost this family 7 figures, and vastly depreciated our lives. A seat belt would have prevented all this, Michelle.

Best wishes for your health and happiness!

Don

<OT> Seatbelt stuff

I was watching a cop on a motorcycle! Yeah right, on a MOTORCYCLE! He was riding like a bat out of hell down the left edge of the multi-lane highway trying to catch people in the left lane who weren't wearing seatbelts. I'm sitting in my Benz with airbags pointing at me from every direction, belt tensioners, padded everything else, and surrounded by 4,800 pounds of steel. This moron thinks it's his duty to check on MY safety. Hell, if I'd sneezed, he'd be a nothing but a stain on the concrete barrier and I'd be lucky to even notice anything happened. Fortunately, I was wearing my seatbelt. I suppose if I wasn't, he'd want me risk my life pulling over so he could meet his quota.

In my area, seatbelts are required by law. Police enforce laws. I just wish they'd use their heads a little more. P.W.
