I didn't say that. I said that even if the FBI files about the holier-than-thou Republicans had been looked into, there would be nothing damning there ;-) It's kinda like -- what would be there to read about say, Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa that they haven't already been honest about, eh? ;-) Dipy.

Oh, so you believe it's ok to rifle through FBI files then? Compare and contrast: As to the FBI files matter, there are outstanding issues that we are attempting to resolve with respect to one individual. But I can address two issues of relevance to the committee's work. First, our investigation, which has been thorough, found no evidence that anyone higher than Mr. Livingstone or Mr. Marceca was in any way involved in ordering the files from the FBI. Second, we have found no evidence that information contained in the files of former officials was used for an improper purpose. (from nytimes.com ) Evidence? We don't need no stinkin' evidence.
