Doug, it was Adaptec that had the Symbios acquisition killed by DOJ. wj

I hadn't thought of QLogic when I made my original posts. They would fit the price parameters, or at least they would have until today. <g> It is also interesting that they are down so much today. I wouldn't imagine that an ANCR acquisition by anybody would be accretive in the short term.

With all the poison pill measures that Ancor has taken recently, I think it is fairly certain that a takeover would NOT be hostile.
