See my post on NN. ML (Merrill Lynch) wrote a report on friday to counter a rumor in the market that LU was going to have a conference call to announce layoffs or restructuring. ML reported that was not true. But more interesting is that ML was not the lead in the $500m in debt done this week for LU but is RESTRICTED on LU right now. Their report says "Soclicitation of commission orders is prohibited" on the face of their report. What's up? Is it the rumored purchase of 15% of NN? Could it be Mory will call in from his honeymoon and sell ASND? Is another networker going to steal the thunder? Or is it everybody is doing their own thing? I smell something, I just am not sure what it is yet. But it appears ML is involved some how with LU. Later, The Trader who is long NN right now, Dennis
