A market exists only because daily perceptions of valuation differ. Because it is not definite, the added sales of $1.40/share is likely to be valued at most at the existing P/S and no more.

Although the DJIA is up, you will observe that NN is trading down as I had projected.

The market decides the Maths. It is good when one can correctly anticipate the result.

1) I agree a market exists because of perceptions. However, when a particular stock is undervalued, I will challenge anyone who tries to make that undervaluation appear valid when the statistics indicate otherwise.

2) That NN is trading near the options' strike of 25 shouldn't surprise anyone, especially someone who plays the market as closely as you.

3) I agree it's good to correctly anticipate the math and that's why I find it surprising you would discount NN's advances considering it's still considerably undervalued.

Later --

Pat

M.D.B: Since you had already figured it out, I hope you used that analysis to good advantage.

I posted my observation when I started to collapse my pyramid.
