re: the Price Waterhouse report, interesting. But it wont be long, IMO, before such metrics are meaningless.

VoIP will be integrated in ways that no one will be able to track usage unless meters are installed in some rather dubious and unlikely places. And who is to say what the traffic levels on enterprise VPNs and intranets will be that displace traditional POTS?

There's already an underground market developing on the international front that escapes everyone's radar screens. And the "legitimate" uses of VoIP in its many emerging and integrated forms could only be tracked with packet meters and Layer 3/4 traps. What's your take? Curious. Will traditional means of tracking these market segments hold any water in the years to come?
