Okay Chief,
I screwed up on a bii trade yesterday too. I patiently waited for a pullback and then bought at 2.69 (Greenline 10:58 1998/11/99). It appeared to be a bottom, and sure enough it went up....only to plummet by the end of the day. At least I didn't buy at the 3.50 level - which is what I probably would have done a year ago. To tell the truth, I bash all internet stocks and told myself I would never buy. Maybe that was my mistake.

First, I don't object to any use of this thread when we aren't trading (because its not my right, its our thread).

But, You guys are comming up with great stuff on ADSL and cable, stuff that will be lost because nobody will look here, they'll look here for this info

Subject 22429

So unfortunately you guys/gals will be the only ones benefitting. Keith Massey is a member of this thread as well as the starter of the other thread. So I know he will welcome you there!

Again, Its not that it matters or I care, in the off trading hours, its just that you have really got some great information here that will be lost to the rest who are looking for it!!

For your consideration.

the Chief

The Canada Stockwatch Ticker is recording each trade twice today on Canadian stocks. The volume, number of trades and dollar value for all Canadian stocks is showing at twice the real value in the Ticker.

We made a mistake when cycling the Ticker last night. Volume values are recorded correctly on our web pages. If you start an Intra Day chart it will remove duplicate trades and adjust the volumes for that stock, however new trades will still come in twice.

NASDAQ and NYSE stocks are not affected.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

*** Off Topic***
Greetings all. I'm probably SI's newest member. I've had very little investment experience, but after lurking around this board for a couple of days, I made my first day trade today. Bought IPZ.V this a.m. @ .47 and sold this aft. @ .56. And as hard as I try, I just can't wipe this stupid grin off my face. Thank you, Know_Genius. I figured, the least I could do with a portion of my profit was to become a member, so I plunked down my plastic for the $60.00 fee. As I mentioned, both trading and the use of these message boards are a new experience to me, so if I commit any faux pas (like posting off topic) I'd appreciate your feedback (be gentle, pls.) Thanks in advance for patience.

All the best

Joe

Good morning Chief,

I apologize if this link breaks your rules. I checked, and it seems okay.

Site is for US daytraders, but it may give lurkers that are thinking of daytrading in Canada some info. Supposed to be a learning site.

OT - Glad to see KCA & VISG Lt's starting to pay big dividends. Unfortunately it is a result of a truly horrific event.

The biometric sector should be the big winner for the remainder of the year. Any number of them may experience 500% plus gains over the next two years imo.

Happy trading!!
