LEAH is a company that will make over $1.00 per share this year. They have oil reservers in Russia that when audited, will put the book value at around $16. They are spinning off Fire Environmental which they estimate will trade between $3-$4 per share. YOu will get 1 share of Fire Environmental for every 2 shares of LEAH. LEAH is now at $1 per share, recently it was at 25 cents per share. So you can see the dividend itself is worth $1.50-$2.00 per share. Read the news articles on the company.

DY...perfect example of 1/50 or 1/30 volume increase in analyzing 'anticipatory upswing' in potential earnings play or even any play.
DY had a Volume change of 227.5% from its 50 day moving average volume. One very important criteria in any trade is increasing volume, the more the better.

Another was that the value indicators showed that DY was undervalued a good deal.. value indicators had it at 59 versus it's close of about 38 on Friday.
Second important criteria.. passed.. Third how about earnings velocity going forward? It's there at a very healthy 20.3% a year..

5 earnings suprises in last 5 quarters helped:

Jul 1997 Oct 1997 Jan 1998 Apr 1998 Jul 1998
35.71% 32.14% 30.43% 5.88% 11.90%

bouncing off support on Friday was still another and with todays good report DY came full circle.

DY from today's watch lists..Dycom Industries, Inc. Posts 1Q EPS $0.50 vs. $0.37 consensus was for 43... DY started showing technical strength and 'anticipation' on Friday. it pierced support of 36 7/16.
