i dont have the actual data; as i recall reading some market analysis small caps have historicall outperform big cap. Prior to these 3 yrs - 30% a yr run in S&P 500, small cap made 30 to 50% a year for a couple of years. it was excessive gain that i think resulted in the small cap downturn these last 2 years. perhaps, the big cap could go thru the same kind of down turn in the near future.
