BarnesandNoble.com, the Worlds true Biggest Book Store, is running a full page in the Wall Street Journal. Barnes new tag line is "If we don't have your book, nobody does."

They show large graphs of B & N's inventory and available titles compared to Amazon with the caption "The online bookstore so big, it makes amazon.com look tiny."

The benefits and cost structure and business agreements Barnes has negotiated will win market share away from Amazon.com. Increased competition is one reason why insiders are selling millions of shares.

rr and dclapp

no offense, but what planet do you reside on? amzn searches for out of print books, border.com does, bn.com does as do dozens of other sites ... compare the databases (bks 4.6 mm, amzn 3.0) and prices ... amzn is not even close to the cheapest ... little if any difference so what makes you think that the company (not the stock now) is a winner?
