Thanx for pointing that out on the MMs. It seems the upward movement may be related to DSL in general rather than company specific.

Hi Daniel,

Preferred Capital is pretty new MM in Orckit as you noticed.
But Smith Barney has been a MM in Orckit for several months now (about six months if I remember well). They started to be MM following a new coverage with a Strong Buy by analyst Steven Levy. Since then Steven Levy has moved to Lehman Brothers as I wrote once on the thread...leadind Lehman to be a new MM on Orckit as well. Since then no analysts assume coverage of Orckit at Smith Barney.
Concerning Bear Stearns, they've been a MM for several months as well...but with no coverage of the stock.

So like Scrapps, I assume the Friday rise is related to DSL interest in general (Compaq Presario, MCI/Worldcom plans...)

till later,

SoMo.
