OFF TOPIC!!!!! Actually, I voted Libertarian in the last two Presidential elections. Bush? Dole?? Please. Jesse in 2000!! I agree that the government was culpable in the 1930's, as they will be in our coming problems. And as they are in spades in Japan. But I stick to my position that down cycles are inevitable and necessary in capitalist economies. They cleanse the excess of the up cycles. Gov't. can't stop them. But they can make them far worse by trying to forestall them. The delays aren't healthy. And that's where we are. Good luck, Dwight
