Alan,

Dang, that was nice of you. I really appreciate the help and am starting to see that maybe I should consider stocks other than Dell. When I was setting up my system, Dell worked best. It still does, in theory, but since I can't do what the system tells me to, it's not of much use.

I found WCOM today from Mach6 Gaps and it worked splendidly. It'll be a while before I feel comfortable trading stocks other than Dell (which I feel entirely intimidated by). Again, thank you for the assistance.

Paul Kaz

Some one PM'ed me a question about Trace Route and I was a little unsure about the correct answer, so I posed it to Phil at MBTrading . ....

<funk> ok i need an answer to this question, please, if my tracert has 10 hops, each hop is 200 ms, then what is the total round trip for me ? in other words i would guess two seconds, but i get split second fills sometimes... what gives?

[17:06] <phactor> tracert doesn't show turnaround, only response time from each hop. Use PING to show turnaround time.

<funk> thanks phactor

[17:08] <phactor> funk - if you throw a boomerang over ten houses, how fast does it come back? Now, how long does it take a meter man to read each of the ten homes' meters?

[17:08] <phactor> dumb example, huh?

[17:08] <nbates> no i think that is a good way of explaining it

hope that helps
