A little digging shows that JohnD edits the Hot Line and PPI owns the eMail service.
JohnD is only the Editor of the EMail (also true for the Letter)

IMHO, that explains the charges of late.

Daniel...that's EXACTLY what I wrote on his advertising flyer...then faxed it back to him. We are in an economic environment of "more for less"....but the $99 email service doesn't fit that description. I'm not a player. Good luck. rd

Yes, that was my reaction when I got the promo as well. I have Sprint Fridays Free Business Plan, which means I only pay for my Hot Line calls on Wednesday. Plus, I don't call every week anyway, so the email service doesn't seem to add value to me.

Well, well, well...

I hope everyone saw the additional form in their monthly subscription, telling how JD has heard from numerous people about Internet access to IW, so they are creating an IW website...

I sure hope they do it right, with electronic copies of the newsletter, and maybe some stock tracking... or here's an idea, maybe even post the HOTLINE UPDATES on the site!!! Wouldn't that be original!! Or maybe a moderated chat for each of the companies JD recommends... how about chat sessions with Thom and JD themselves from time to time? Breaking news analysis when stuff comes out about "our great companies"? All these would be good or great, hope they don't lose the opportunity and just post a electronic version of the letter and charge us an extra $100 for the privelege.

DWB

P.S. It also makes me wonder even more if they read this forum, since this exact thing has been a fairly hot topic of late...
