Mary, see my post to Tim. I am posting publicly published numbers that professional analysts have calculated. If you really want to make a bet, I bet that Intel's 1999 earnings per share will be within $0.05 (five cents) of whatever number the same professional analysts predict the day before Intel announces. Why don't you pick a number out of the air right now, and post it, and we'll come back to it and see who wins bragging rights?
