Hi CGarcia, AMZN is risky!! But, I must say the chart just loooks mahvelous. Day to buy was Monday as soon as it passed 140 - major support. It has knocked on 140's door four times since the end of June. Monday the door blew open. All my TA training would say just hit the button and sit back. But then you get days like Thursday down 10 3/4 on volume 50% above normal. And after all, they're a flippin' bookseller! Time to get up on the soapbox. OK AMZN and BKS are just like DULL (I shouldn't say that 'cause I've made good $ on DELL) and CPQ. One is direct, the other has retailers. BKS is bigger (actually I'm not sure about that now) but AMZN is catching up fast. So now BKS goes direct. I see a lot of people at my locals BKS. Like EP says - a lot of people will always want to touch and feel. A lot of people still want to interact with other people. I think most people who buy online are the same people who buy from catalogues. Retail websites are glorified catalogues with the advantage of saving a lot of trees. Who'll win out? I'd bet on the "have it your way crowd" at BKS and CPQ. K PS: Ted Bits today (with Maria giggling in the background) - When are big breasts bad for sex? When you're a turkey. Today's turkeys are bred for large breasts - now so large that it is anatomically impossible for them to have sex. They must be artificially inseminated. If they were let loose in the wild, they would die off pretty quickly.
