I think eBay is an exciting company that could evolve into an internet franchise much like YHOO. In fact, eBay may be the mass market e-tail, e-commerce company to watch, not AMZN. However, obviously eBay is outdoing even YHOO in terms of mania. I think essentially all these internet companies are bubbles and should burst within a year. And like Home Shopping network and Netscape they will pretty much retrace all of the vertical moves we see these days. Either that, or we would evolve into some sort of e-beings we wouldn't recognize today... LOL
