Well I thought it was hot news anyway, Borzou says no it isnt, so that just shows what I know.

Yes, Michelle, I guess it falls under the category of hot news. But what doesn't these days? Look how long every move in the O.J. saga captured the sordid imagination of the media and the public.

What I was saying was that a careful look at what happened with Sam Dash shows that the letter doesn't mean much. He stuck by Starr throughout the whole investigation. It was only Starr's appearance on television was too much for Dash. (Maybe he was a tad jealous.)

Taken out of context by a sensationalist media and a Democratic Party smelling blood, it amounts to a heck of a lot. It makes Starr and the inquiry look really bad. It also takes some of the steam out of the impeachment drive and gives moderate Republicans political protection if they decide to vote against impeachment.
