Jingle Bells Ring Through Computers Across the Country Via NetRadio Network's Seven New Holiday Music Channels
From Mannheim Steamroller To The Jingle Cats, Listeners Can Tune Into Their Holiday Favorites on the Web 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days A Week
MINNEAPOLIS--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Nov. 20, 1998-- Making spirits bright in offices and homes across the country, NetRadio Network, the leading provider of original Internet audio content and a majority-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corp. (Nasdaq: NAVR - news), kicks off the holiday season by offering its listeners a choice of seven channels dedicated to holiday music.

A channel dedicated to all of the great music of Mannheim Steamroller, the largest-selling Christmas music artist in the '90s, leads the way. Through an exclusive arrangement with American Gramaphone Records, NetRadio Network will feature all of Mannheim Steamroller's music this holiday season for the second straight year.

NetRadio's millions of listeners can also tune into separate holiday channels for Country, Jazz, New Age, Kids' Music and Pop.

Also back for another year is the ever-popular ''Novelty Holiday'' channel, which features music from The Jingle Dogs, The Jingle Cats, and even The Jingle Babies.

With NetRadio's holiday music channels, it's easy to listen to festive holiday tunes at work. Listeners can tap their feet to a country holiday song on their computers, while creating a spreadsheet. Or mellow out with a jazzy holiday tune while shopping on the Internet. Workers can even find relief from daily stress -- and amuse their co-workers as well -- by tuning into the Novelty Channel.

Thanks to NetRadio's unique content-enabled commerce (or C-Commerce™) model, consumers can listen, click and purchase any holiday music they hear, as well as more than 250,000 CD music titles at NetRadio's online music store, CDPoint™ (http://www.cdpoint.com). With such a huge selection, consumers are bound to find the perfect gift for any musical taste.

''Our holiday music channels offer listeners a way to enjoy various types of holiday music, and then buy it immediately if they like it,'' said David Witzig, NetRadio Network's vice president of commerce and content. ''With CDPoint, our fully integrated online music store, listeners can enjoy the music and take care of their holiday shopping with a simple click of the mouse.''

Mannheim Steamroller will be featured in the NBC television special, ''The Christmas Angel'' on Dec. 19. Narrating the family tale will be Chip Davis, along with Olivia Newton-John, and performing will be an array of world-class ice figure skaters. The Mannheim Steamroller holiday channel available now on NetRadio Network is a part of the promotional activities being executed in conjunction with Mannheim Steamroller's new release, ''The Christmas Angel.''

''We are excited to have NetRadio Network create an entire radio channel dedicated to Mannheim Steamroller's music for the Internet audience,'' said Chip Davis, Mannheim Steamroller's composer/producer/ arranger.

''With the awareness building for our upcoming NBC special, we expect a large audience for the Mannheim Steamroller channel on NetRadio throughout the holiday season. This artist-exclusive channel is an excellent model for marketing and selling music over the Internet, and is a major part of our Web marketing campaign.''
