if you "follow the trend" as they say then you will be the trend - avg. my put 10 bagger on cmb was done by fighting the trend. so was my lgndw purchase. now, i haven't been as successful on all purchases. some of my other positions have not faired nearly as well and on some i'm under water. for now. i feel better owning a company where the business is doing better than the stock price rather than the other way around.

i do realize that many have done well playing the "greater fool" game. this is short term success and if people continue to "invest" like that then i would put forth they will be the ones that eventually aren't around.

but hey, i do expect there to be many geniuses at the top of the valuation curve and at the top of a raging bull market. right now there are many geniuses. just like at nikkei 39k. this situation is not the same as nikkei 39k, however, there are many similarities. many difference, but many similarities, too.

Dipy and the rest of the spineless bears like him have left this thread when the market turned.

Whoa! When did I say I am bearish? I am fully (or nearly fully) invested all along! Do you want to call me a "fully-invested bear"?! :-)

All I said is that if and when a bear-market happens, don't expect Brinker to call it. Be prepared to ride it out, as I already am.

Dipy.
