LLR, I do hope your budget loosens up a bit. That 350 was a mile eater even in the days before fuel injection. That big truck went through the Rockies like crap through a goose. 4 guys, weeks worth of gear and all our fishing tackle, 2 feet of mud? Been there, done it, got my shirt. Ok, it wasn't as much as a baby requires. It was tough in the parking lots. I bought the wife a 4 cylinder car. She loved the mileage but one day I almost got t-boned in it. Bought her a new 6, mileage is almost the same.
