You are never too old. Keith is very sophisticated in his techniques, but people like you and me should be able to pick successful day trades that don't require his kind of technology. We will miss some opportunities, but find others.

kidl,
I don't think anyone is too old for this. Each of us just needs to find his/her niche. Even though I am still young by most standards, when I see those documentaries where day traders are madly punching their keyboards and handling 10 - 50 trades a day, I know that is not for me. I prefer to keep my trades small in number and focused - I get into a 'zone' when things are going my way with a trade. Although I do have a good computer setup, it is no match for what Chief and Keith have. But it doesn't bother me - my stuff works for me. Also... my husband keeps telling me whenever I want new toys for my computer that 'it's a poor carpenter that blames his/her tools'. I for one am delighted to find something (trading) that I intend to keep me going long after I leave the general workforce. And I am sure my trading style, and hopefully my knowledge will change over the years - but I don't think I will ever feel any compulsion to trade like everyone else. I think there is lots of room for all of us.
