Steve: Having attained enlightenment through the inspiration of Rick, and Bob's buddy, Jesus, I am forced to submit this critical note...

You have flustered, flabbergasted, filosophically frazzled, and generally f'd me up - with this comment of yours:

Your definition of art is a bit less rigorous than mine, I suspect. I would rather classify what goes on here as a form of play.

You said this to Terrie - but it is general in its application.

So, I take it personally.

Play? You #%!*+$% filistine! Do you mean that SI art is brevis???

PLAY?! Jesus Christ!

Mr. Montgomery

Steven,

PMs, eh? Is that like whispering behind someone's back? The debate to which Father Terrence refers has much to do with ego, but not in the way you (or they) imagine. If you do not wish to scour posts, then you will have no idea of what there is between FT and gsm. Many moons ago, george came to these threads with a Purpose. Sadly, there are few to counter his desire for defacement, or to apprehend where it leads. If you would like to resurrect the debate, perhaps we could start with this: is this the "land of the free"? Or have we been taught (and swallowed hook, line, and sinker) a fairy tale?

Skipper

Steve,

Many parrots are called, but few are chosen. You have not been chosen because, sadly, you are an ostrich...
